Brad
Jacobsen, Head Coach 2007-08 season
is Coach Jacobsen's 12th at the helm of the Bluejays, which is the
longest tenure of any head boy's coach in any sport in school history. The
06-07 Bluejays that finished 17-7 are the 16th team to finish with
a .500 or better record in the past 59 years of the school’s program (and the
4th in the past 6 seasons).
Coach
Jacobsen is a member of the Nebraska Basketball Development Association and
in 1997 served as an assistant coach for a Valentino’s/Bison Nebraska
All-Star team the will coach the Bison White (16 & Under) team in the
summer of 2008. Coach Jacobsen also
serves the Metro Basketball Coaches Association on it’s Board of Directors
(based in Jacobsen is
a graduate of Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, NE and Hampton High
School, in Hampton, NE. Brad is married to Staci, and they have 3 sons,

Nate Tonjes,
Asst. Coach (J.V.) 2007-08 is
Tonjes' 7th season as the head of the Junior Varsity program.
Tonjes came to Ashland-Greenwood as a High School Math Instructor after
graduating from Midland Lutheran College and Pender High School, in Pender,
NE. Tonjes also serves as an assistant coach for the Bluejay Football squad. Coach Tonjes
is married to Heather and they have one daughter, Danielle and one son, Derek. |

Donnie
Laughlin, Asst. Coach (9th Grade/C team) Donnie
Laughlin joins the staff for the first year in 2007-08. Laughlin is a 2003 graduate of Coach
Laughlin is married to Kristen and the couple resides in Coach
Thimm, Coach Jacobsen, Dave Taylor, Justin Christen, Coach Tonjes, Coach
Brower with the 2005-06 Capitol Conference Championship Trophy! |
