Return
to Learn From Cancer
The Superintendent or
designee shall make available training approved by the chief medical officer of
the State on how to recognize that students who have been treated for pediatric
cancer and returned to school may need informal or formal accommodations,
modifications of curriculum, and monitoring by medical or academic staff.
A 504 team meeting will be held, as
appropriate, to develop individual return to learn accommodations and
modifications.
