Student Handbook

Student handbooks, when approved by the board, will be a supplement to the board of education policy manual. The building principals are responsible for implementation and execution of board policies and the approved procedures.

Building principals and program directors, as appropriate, will present to the superintendent the recommended student handbook. All student handbooks are reviewed by the personnel committee of the board and presented to the full board for final approval. Student handbooks are approved by the board annually prior to the beginning of each academic year.

The building principals will receive input from student advisory councils and building faculties for revision of existing procedures.
