Expenditures

The board directs the superintendent to make expenditures and act in such a manner as to carry out the board's intent. Within the framework of applicable laws and regulations as well as good business practices, the superintendent shall detail procedures to be followed for execution of the board's intent. Rules and regulations or procedures established by the superintendent for execution of this policy shall be in the form of written directives or documents.

Contracts to Encumber Funds

Contracts for services and all other agreements which encumber funds of the district shall be made only by the superintendent or the superintendent's designated representatives when such services are budgeted for and that budget has been approved by the board.
