Food Service
The operation of a food
service program is considered to be an integral part of the total educational
program of the school district. It is
the intent of the board to provide a food service program for the pupils of the
district.
To implement the intent
of the board, the superintendent of schools shall prepare an annual plan for
provision of food services and shall submit this plan to the board of education
for review. The annual plan for provision
of food service should be prepared by the superintendent with the assistance of
the person designated as Food Service Supervisor.
In compliance with state
and federal law, a separate account shall be established to maintain records of
receipts and disbursements of the food service program.
