Tutoring
Professional employees
are prohibited from serving as tutors, on a paid basis, for students who are
assigned to them within a course of study or instruction during the contract
year.
Professional employees
are prohibited from using school facilities and resources for tutoring, on a
paid basis, unless permission for use of school facilities has been granted to
the professional employee in his or her role as a citizen.
Use of school facilities
or resources for purposes of tutoring students may, at the discretion of the
superintendent and the board, require payment of fees for use of school
facilities.
Professional employees
who engage in tutoring of students during a contract period are expected to
inform their immediate supervisor of arrangements which have been made for
employment of a tutor when the person being tutored is
a student enrolled in the school district.
