Students

Social Events; Meetings

Participation of students in social events and meetings conducted by student groups and school-community organizations is encouraged. Employees of the district are encouraged to promote and support such events and student participation in such events as means of developing social and citizenship skills for students.

Student participation in school-sponsored social events and meetings should be accompanied by conduct as specified in other school policies (5131, 5132, 5133).
