Instructional
Arrangements
It is the duty of the
superintendent of schools to recommend general guidelines for instructional
arrangements including, but not limited to, the following:
1. class size
2. grouping of students
3. field trips
4. homework or make-up
work
5. class examinations
6. instructional
methods
For each of the areas for
which guidelines are established, the guidelines shall identify, insofar as
possible, practices which are expected, permitted, required, mandated or
prohibited.
Guidelines or rules and
regulations established with respect to instructional arrangements shall be in
accord with statutes, judicial decisions, board policies, goals and objectives
of the school district, and provisions agreed to through collective
negotiations with professional employees when any or all of these constraints
are applicable.
