Instruction

 

Instructional Services

 

The Superintendent of schools shall establish, or cause to be established, rules, regulations, guidelines, procedures and lists or catalogs of resources to provide instructional services to students and professional employees.  Instructional services may include any of the following:

 

  1. Equipment, books and materials including textbooks and workbooks, equipment and supplies, supplementary instructional materials, and musical instruments.

 

  1. Instructional resources for teachers including audiovisual and electronic or technological equipment and materials, consultant services, helping teachers, community resources, and research or testing services.

 

  1. Instructional services for students including libraries, learning laboratories, and special facilities for instruction (e.g., art, music, physical education, vocational education, etc.).

 

  1. Individual services including health services, guidance services, and services for remediation of psychological, psychiatric, reading, hearing, or speech disabled studies.

 

  1. Provision for student production of services and materials.
