Adaptations/Alternative Programs
Correspondence courses. Pupils in grades
9-12, with approval of local school authorities, may earn 15 credits by
correspondence from an accredited school approved by the State Department of
Public Instruction, provided work is supervised by a teacher with valid
College courses. Pupils may be eligible and
permitted to enroll in one or more college classes as part of their high school
program. Permission of the principal is
required to do so. Credit earned from
the satisfactory completion of such courses may be applied at the secondary
school or college level with the mutual consent of the two schools involved.
Pupils will
be allowed to carry extra credit courses only upon approval of the principal
and within accrediting rules and regulations.
