Attendance at State
and National Conventions
The board of education
recognizes the benefits for the school system through attendance of board
members at state and national conventions, meetings and conferences and
authorizes reimbursement of travel and maintenance expenses incurred through
such representation.
Board Members shall not
receive a per diem but shall be reimbursed for all actual and necessary
expenses. Board members shall be reimbursed for mileage at the rate established
by the State of Nebraska Department of Administrative Services. The district
will allow for the reimbursement of other expenses as is provided for by state
statutes and as permitted by the Department of Administrative Services for
individuals performing official business for the State of
