Bylaws of the Board
Meeting Conduct
In the absence of the
president and vice president at any meeting the board shall choose a president
pro tem. In the absence of the executive secretary at any meeting, the board
shall choose an executive secretary pro tem.
Any formal official
action on any question or motion duly moved and seconded shall be taken only by
roll call vote of the board in open session convened, and the record shall show
how each member voted, or was absent or not voting. Roll call votes shall be taken in the
alphabetical order of the last names of the board members, but successively and
consecutively rotated in such order from meeting to meeting to permit each
member the opportunity and right, periodically, to vote first.
When a motion has been
carried in the affirmative or negative, any member who voted on the side which
prevailed may move reconsideration thereof at the same meeting or at a
subsequent meeting of the board.
