All About Senora Pearson

meHola! My name is Senora Pearson and I teach Preschool through eighth grade Spanish at Ashland-Greenwood Elementary and Middle School. I enjoy teaching Spanish because the students are always eager to learn new words and sing our Spanish songs.
I grew up in Omaha where I went to high school at Millard South. I attended college at Northwest Missouri State where I received my Elementary Education degree with an endorsement in Spanish. After living in Worthington, Minnesota, I came down to Omaha hoping for a teaching job. When Mrs. Bray asked me to be the new Spanish teacher in a new Spanish Elementary program, I was very excited. Currently we are in our seventh year in the program and we are learning more and more Spanish words. I go into each Elementary classroom for a half an hour each week. It may not be much time, but we get a lot accomplished.

My husband, Matt, is the Director of Youth and Family Ministries at Trinity Lutheran Church in Papillion. At church I teach Wednesday night church-school for preschool- fourth grade. My other hobbies include dancing, jogging, getting together with friends, and being a mom. I have two sons, Josiah, who is a very active four year old, and Elijah who is one and is trying to keep up with big brother.
If you would like to email me, my address is sarah.pearson@agps.org and the elementary school phone number is 944-7083.
